Founded in 1972 in Silicon Valley, Sequoia Capital is dedicated to helping entrepreneurs achieve great companies with everlasting careers. With localized funds in the U.S., China, and India, Sequoia Capital is a top global investment institution and was once ranked at the top of the 2019 Hurun Global Top 100 Active Unicorn Investors List.

The most well-known Sequoia core figure in China is Shen Nanpeng, who is currently the global managing partner of Sequoia Capital and the founding and managing partner of Sequoia Capital China Fund. He is the founder of Ctrip and Rujia hotel chain, and has been ranked first in Forbes magazine's list of the world's best venture capitalists for three consecutive years from 2018 to 2020, creating and maintaining the highest record of Chinese investors.
